# Delete Your Instagram Data

Last updated: September 26, 2026.

If you connected your Instagram account to Paper Route, here’s how to remove what we hold, and what each option actually deletes.

## Three ways to remove it

**1\. Disconnect in Settings.** In the app, go to Settings → Connections and disconnect Instagram. This deletes your stored access token immediately and cancels anything not yet posted. A record of what was already posted — caption, schedule, status, and the Instagram post link — stays in your account so you can see your history.

**2\. Remove Paper Route from Instagram.** In Instagram, go to Settings → Apps and websites, find Paper Route, and remove it. Instagram tells us you did this, and we delete your access token and cancel anything not yet posted — the same result as disconnecting in Settings.

**3\. Delete your Paper Route account.** This erases everything: your Instagram token, every post record, and the rest of your account and its data. There’s nothing left to look up afterward.
