Terms of Service

1. The service
Paper Route is a service of Clearpoint Systems, operated by Tom Shlager. It is a subscription service for real estate agents that generates approved written content and rendered short-form video from your brand profile, listings, current market facts, optional relevant news, and recent content history. Signup is self-serve, no invite required: create an account and start your free week. A coupon code is optional, not a requirement.
2. Your free week
New signups get one week of the service free, with no card required. The free week is limited to one per person and one per brokerage email address; we may decline to offer it, or end it early, at our discretion. Nothing is charged during or automatically at the end of the free week — on day 7 you choose a plan on the pricing page to continue, or you don’t, and either way you keep no ongoing obligation to us.
The reels made during your free week are licensed to you the same way as any approved content package under section 7, Your content, whether or not you go on to a paid plan. If your free week ends without becoming a paid plan, your uploaded photos are deleted 30 days after the free week ends, in addition to the retention terms in section 5 and the privacy policy.
If you add a mobile number and check the consent box, you agree to receive text messages about your reels, including delivery of your weekly package and requests for changes. Reply STOP to any message to opt out.
3. Payments and billing
Every plan is a monthly subscription at the price shown on the pricing page. You may end your subscription at any time by emailing support@trypaperroute.com. Your access continues until the end of the billing month in which you end it, and stops at the end of that month.
We do not give refunds or partial-month credits for a month that has started. This does not limit any statutory right you have under the law of your country — for example, the 14-day withdrawal right available to consumers in the European Union where it applies. 4. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old, able to enter into a binding contract, and use Paper Route for your own real-estate business.
You must sign in with a valid email address or Google account and provide accurate brand and listing information. You are responsible for the accuracy of the facts (prices, addresses, listing details) you supply — the product will not publish a number that doesn’t appear in what you gave it, but it cannot verify that what you gave it is correct.
5. Your photos
Approved packages are rendered into short-form video: on-screen text and your uploaded headshot and logo composited as brand assets. By uploading a headshot you confirm you have the rights to that photo and consent to it being composited into your content.
Paper Route only ever uses the account holder’s own photos, uploaded by them with their consent, to produce their own content. It is not a face-swap, deepfake or face-manipulation tool: you may not upload another person’s photo or likeness, and doing so is prohibited under these terms (see also section 9, Acceptable use). Paper Route is an independent product built on third-party AI models; it is not affiliated with or endorsed by the companies that make them. We use no camera or identity capture, and create no real-time or interactive avatar. Any future feature that would use your photo or likeness differently requires your explicit consent and updated terms before it is enabled.
6. Fair housing
You are solely responsible for ensuring that any content you post, including content generated by Paper Route, complies with fair-housing and advertising rules that apply to you. You must review and approve every script before it is published; Paper Route does not review content for fair-housing compliance on your behalf.
7. Your content
You own the approved content packages and rendered videos Paper Route generates for you. We retain package versions, source links, and claim mappings for quality and compliance audit; you can edit a package or ask for changes to it. We publish to your Instagram account only when you specifically ask us to — see section 8, Instagram publishing — and don’t post anywhere else on your behalf.
By uploading or entering content, you give us a non-exclusive license to host, reproduce and process it solely to operate the service for you, including sending it to the third-party AI and media providers named in our Privacy Policy. Paper Route itself — the software, the brand and how the service works — belongs to Clearpoint Systems, and these terms give you no rights in it beyond using the service.
8. Instagram publishing
If you connect your Instagram account, Paper Route can publish a reel, image, or carousel to it — but only when you specifically ask, by text or in the app, either to post immediately or to schedule a post for a later time. You review and approve what gets posted; we don’t choose what to post or post anything you haven’t asked for.
You are solely responsible for the content you choose to publish, including its compliance with fair-housing and advertising rules (see section 6) and with Instagram’s own rules. Your use of Instagram is also governed by Instagram’s own Terms of Use, which apply in addition to these terms. You can disconnect your account at any time from Settings, or by removing Paper Route’s access from within Instagram.
9. Acceptable use
Don’t use Paper Route to generate content that is false, discriminatory, or that misrepresents a listing. Don’t upload another person’s photo or likeness — Paper Route is for your own photos only.
You may not use Paper Route to generate, request or publish NSFW, explicit, pornographic or sexually suggestive content, content that sexualizes or endangers minors, or violent, hateful, harassing or otherwise harmful content, or to try to get around our content checks. The full list is in our Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these terms. We may refuse a request, remove content, and suspend or close accounts that violate this or abuse the service.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account, with or without notice, if you break these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, abuse the service, or a payment for your plan is not made. While an account is suspended you may not be able to make new content or publish through Paper Route. If we close an account for breaking these terms, section 3 and our Refund policy still apply, so the billing month that has started is not refunded.
You can stop using Paper Route and close your account at any time. End your subscription as described in section 3; to delete your account, use Settings, which permanently deletes your account and everything in it. The Data deletion page explains how to remove what we hold from a connected Instagram account.
11. Disclaimers
Paper Route is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Content is generated by AI and can contain mistakes, so you must review every script and reel before it is published (see sections 4 and 6). We make no promise about results: we do not guarantee any leads, views, followers, sales or other business outcome from content made with Paper Route.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the billing month giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13. Your statutory rights
If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction whose law grants you mandatory protections or a different venue, nothing here limits those rights.
14. Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be communicated on the site, and the dated version above always reflects what is in force.
